Dr. Mufleh A. El-Qudah, the Founding Partner of Qudah Law Firm, and the head of Qudah Law Firm’s team for arbitration and dispute resolution, Amman- Jordan.
Prior to establishing Qudah Law Firm, Dr. Mufleh worked as a judge in the Jordanian courts and established the Judicial Institute of Jordan and the Higher Institution for Legal and Judicial Sciences in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Mufleh played an active role in the establishment and the management of the Judicial Institute of Jordan, since 1988 till 2000 and the Higher Institute for Legal and Judicial Sciences, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, 1996 - 2008.
Locally Dr. Mufleh participated in a number of law drafting committees in Jordan concerned in reviewing and drafting the Civil Procedures Law, the Evidence Law, Enforcement Law, the Companies Law. Regionally, he took part in a number of committees concerned in the drafting of and discussing a number of legislations in the UAE.
Dr. El-Qudah worked as an expert in the Counsel of Arab Judicial Ministers 1992- 1996. Also, he was an arbitrator in many cases with special nature and remarkable importance.
Dr. El-Qudah has also contributed in the field of legal education in many Jordanian universities such as the University of Jordan, the Applied Science University, Isra’a University, Amman Al-Ahliyya University, in addition to his chief role in the preparation and qualification of judges in the Judicial Institute of Jordan and the Higher Institute for Legal and Judicial Sciences, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. El-Qudah presented a large and well known set of legal publications including the Actual and Legal Existence for the Factual Company, Amman 1985, Civil Procedures Rules, Amman1986, Compulsory Enforcement Procedures (first edition 1987, second edition 1994, third edition 1996, fourth edition 2007), Civil Procedures Rules and the Organization of Jordanian’s Judiciary (first edition 1988, and the last edition with the latest amendments 2013), Evidence in the Civil and Commercial Articles (first edition 1992, and the latest edition 2008), Jordanian Judicial System, Evidence in the Civil and Commercial Articles - Dubai 1998, Limited Liability Company and Limited Partnership 1999, Litigation (the proceedings and the litigation) 2002.
He participated in the field of research through a number of researches including the Role of the Judiciary System in Creating A Large Base, Modern Scientific Means for Evidencing, the Authenticity of Digital Signature and Digital Writing in Comparative Law, the Independency of the Arbitration Clause, the Role of Judicial Institutes in the Judicial Qualification, Trademarks Legal Protection, Managing Troubled Commercial Projects, Civil Liability Towards Tort.
Dr. El-Qudah participated in discussing a list of researches submitted by law students in the Jordanian Bar Association, researches submitted by the students of the Judicial Institute of Jordan, master thesis submitted by the students of faculty of law, the University of Jordan, researches submitted by students of Higher Institute for Legal and Judicial Sciences- Dubai, the United Arab Emirates as well as discussing a number of PHD thesis.
Dr. El-Qudah has an active presence in a number of local, regional and international conferences including the Third Conference for Euro-Arab Arbitration, the Second Conference for the Jordanian Expatriates, the Role of Judicial Institutes and Universities for Protecting Human Rights Conference, Syracuse 1989, Managing Troubled Commercial Projects Conference, Cairo. As for Arab world Judicial Institutes Conference, Dr. El-Qudah attends every session since 1989 till now.
